Veena Malik (born as Zahida Malik at 26 Feb 1984) is a Pakistan actress, model and comedienne. Veena was born in Rawalpindi, to Ali Malik, a Pakistan Army soldier (Hawaldar), and his wife, Zeenat Malik.
Before starting her career off as an actress, Malik worked as a comedian for several television shows and series. She made her acting debut alongside Shaan and Zara Sheikh in Askari's Tere Pyar Mein (2000), which was a box office hit.
